Scope of Position

  • To manage and implement a Community-Based workforce program through collaborative communication, clear guidance, and servant leadership to all service providers, stakeholders, and participants.
  • To lead all efforts with human dignity and inclusion
  • To functionally lead the Community Program Team. To provide Servant Leadership and direction for the team and provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • To work with the stakeholders and funding source on expectations and continuous improvement
  • To communicate mission statement, agreed upon policies, progress on outcomes, innovations, and information to all staff according to agreed-upon communication protocols
  • To achieve the defined success indicators for the program including all workforce and behavioral health services

To coordinate the subcontracting, invoicing, and technical support needed for all subcontractors

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Establish professional working relationships to develop community and inter-agency support
  • Maintain quick, professional response time and proactive communication with funding source and stakeholders
  • Attend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings
  • Facilitate community and service provider meetings to develop program framework details, including mission statement, assessment and enrollment protocol, referral processes, and all relevant data input and outcomes.
  • Day-to-day management of office operations and staff servicing at community-based locations
  • Address human resource and staff concerns
  • Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately
  • Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
  • Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues and incorporate appropriate concepts into program improvements
  • Encourage collaboration between service providers
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and HR to coordinate supports to each service provider
  • Facilitation of daily check-in and quarterly all-staff meetings as well as routine leadership meetings across service providers
  • Analyze and understand data as it pertains to all performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate performance information, which includes providing Regional Director of Operations and Company Performance Analyst with current data
  • Provide routine performance updates to funder and state partners
  • Communicate effectively with all partner agencies and ensure that all providers are maintaining excellent customer service with respect to diversity, equity, inclusion, trauma-informed care, and integrity to mission.
  • Communicate internal EDSI initiatives, benefit updates and company news to the local team

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy/health, social work, or related area is required
  • Must have 3-5 years of Workforce Development and/or Community Based Program leadership experience
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office products with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous management experience required
  • Prior project management experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to conduct collaborative meetings and presentations to a wide range of audiences
  • Must have experience in team-oriented environment and demonstrate self-initiative
  • Must be comfortable and able to travel to various program locations throughout Philadelphia County
  • Should be able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
