ADW/RESEA Career Advisor

Salary $40,000 year

Are you goal driven? Then the ADW/RESEA Career Advisor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

As the ADW/RESEA Career Advisor, you will be responsible for providing case management and career counseling to customers and providing support and assistance in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement.

Successful Elements:

• Determine WIOA eligibility and accurately complete required documentation for enrollment
• Build professional one-on-one working relationships with customers to assist in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employment
• Conduct in-person/remote orientation sessions to iterate all relevant program requirements, expectations, and documentation to entering client
• Complete and submit all necessary documentation in accordance with RESEA & WIOA compliance.
• Provide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed.
• Maintain organized database of customers and keep detailed documentation of all contacts
• Provide consistent and comprehensive case management follow-up ensuring that contacts are made as required by specific contract and accommodating customer work schedules

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Career counseling experience required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required
