Then the OJT Coordinator position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.

Scope of Position: On-the-Job Training Coordinator is responsible for connecting employer services where eligible companies can hire candidates and receive reimbursement if they provide hands-on training.

Responsibilities

· Attend weekly job matching meetings to match potential candidates with OJT opportunities

· Find businesses in partnership with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce who are interested in OJT contracts

· Complete the OJT Training Plan with the Employer and Trainee

· Create a Claira Survey for each OJT candidate

· Compile all necessary documents and bring the completed OJT Master Agreement to Delaware County Office of Workforce Development for approval

· Maintain relationship with the employer, including collecting monthly invoices, and inquiring about the status of OJT candidates at the six month mark

· Maintain the OJT files in accordance to Delaware County Office of Workforce Development guidance

· Keep an updated spreadsheet of OJT placements and documentation

· Recruit for open OJT positions and find appropriate candidates for openings

· Conducts outreach for targeted populations as specific grant funding becomes available and maintains a caseload of jobseekers as needed

· Attend local networking events to promote program

· Split time between CareerLink offices in Media and Chester City.

· Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the workforce development field

· Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment

· Knowledge and understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Valid Driver’s License, vehicle and clean driving record required
