· Build and maintain successful business relationships with Lehigh Valley employers that result in meeting local workforce needs through Work-Based Learning and unsubsidized employment opportunities for program job seekers.
· Coordinate business outreach, providing support and supervision of Lehigh Valley’s Employer Services Team.
· Collaborate with the Lehigh Valley Workforce Board (WBLV) and program leadership to effectively strategize the development of registered Pre-apprenticeship/Apprenticeship programs, On the Job Trainings and Work-Based Learning experiences that align with high-priority industries, skill gaps in the labor market, and available funding
· Perform outreach to engage local employers in PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley complement of business services
· Provide functional supervision and coordination of the Employer Services Team and Work-Based Training Developers to grow business relationships that result in optimal job matching and placement services.
· Coordinate, track and report out on initial and follow-up employer visits to develop, maintain and grow ongoing employer relationships
· Orient local employers to PA CareerLink® services, financial resources, and available work-based training programs to include pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships, on the job training, subsidized employment, incumbent worker training and paid work based learning experiences
· Schedule and facilitate Employer Services hiring events, focused recruitments for employers and sector job fairs
· Conduct face-to-face or virtual meetings with employers, unions, community colleges, career and technical schools, intermediate units, community/faith-based organizations, workforce boards and affiliated partners to facilitate registered pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship plans
· Coordinate all documentation needed on local and state levels to register, sustain, and meet compliance standards for registered pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships
· Coordinate follow-up meetings and progress on action items needed to submit a program for pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship registration approval
· Work closely with ATO, DOL, and other apprenticeship coordinating organizations and entities within Lehigh Valley to reduce duplication and maximize efforts to outcomes
· Create and establish reporting on registered pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship progress; share outcomes with stakeholders about the progress of each pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship program
· Complete the Registered Apprenticeship Navigator program (2,000 hours of On-The-Job Training and 144 hours of Related Technical Instruction) if not already a registered Navigator.
· Maintain monthly On-the-Job Training (OJT), Subsidized Employment, Incumbent Worker Training (IWT), and Apprenticeship invoices and annotate expenses in the appropriate program checkbook
· Coordinate team efforts with PA CareerLink® WIOA Adult, DW, WIOA Youth, TANF, LEAP, and all programs to promote work based learning opportunities, matching jobseekers to training partners and participating employers.
· Maintain a working knowledge of regional High Priority Occupations and Labor Market Information to assist with work based learning plans as outlined in the WBLV regional and local strategic plans
· Communicate with WBLV on ITA and OJT funding solutions for apprenticeship models for local employer solutions
· Act as an intermediary to provide technical assistance and recommend policy changes to all stakeholders as needed

· Possess a combined 3-5 years’ experience of employer services, workforce development, project management, and Pennsylvania apprenticeship standards
· Knowledge of apprenticeship registration paperwork, RAPIDS, and apprenticeship approval council preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or adequate work experience required
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Must possess a high level of project management skills with the proven ability balance multiple priorities simultaneously
· Should be able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
· Must be comfortable with presenting information to large audiences in professional/clear manner
· Must be available for travel across Lehigh Valley to attend in-person meetings with stakeholders when necessary
· Must have access to reliable transportation
