Do you have a passion for making a difference in someone’s life? Are you goal driven? Then the Bilingual Resource Room Specialist position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

Assist customers in the resource center and monitor program participants involved in job search activities

Responsibilities

• Keep program participants on task in job search activities
• Answer questions in a computer lab setting
• Assist with the navigation of online job boards and online application processes
• Assist in PA CareerLink® registration and enrollment
• Assist Visitors with the completion of the Digital Intake Form
• Input data retrieved from completed paper copies of the Digital Intake Form into
CWDS
• Provide Guidance in Navigating state systems related to Unemployment
Compensation (BenMod & ID.Me)
• Ensure bulletin boards, brochures, flyers and documents intended for public
distribution are current
• Demonstrate an awareness and commitment to the balance of individual and
group needs in a computer lab setting
• Inform jobseekers of services available in partnership with PA CareerLink® or
other community resources
• Support efforts to facilitate the one-stop center’s orientation sessions
• Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

• Must have experience in team-oriented environment
• Able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive
professional attitude
• Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite products
• Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract require
• Bilingual in Haitian Creole or Spanish required
