Scope of Position
• To provide support and assistance to program participants in all areas related to gaining
and/or retaining employment and career advancement.
• Due to the dynamics of working with individuals, this position necessitates an individual
who is comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving.
• This position requires an organized individual who can efficiently handle several
responsibilities simultaneously.
• Assist in the data entry, filing, and administrative support.
• Offer support to customers in the Computer Resource Center.
• Outreach and communication to potential, current, and retention participants.
• Update and share the team calendar on a daily basis.
• Create and update different trackers with the use of Excel spreadsheets.
• Back up for workshop/event invitations, follow-ups, and keeping track of attendance.
• Check phone voicemails twice daily and ensure call-backs.
• Help create virtual and physical client files.
• Monitor youth social media accounts with timely posting and generating new ideas.
• Technical and customer support as needed.
• Assist leaders in creating new team processes and relate this information to necessary
parties.
• Enter data, workshops, and case notes in statewide database.
• Assist with organizing recruitment events and keeping all parties informed of progress.
• In charge of purchasing office supplies as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and reviewing of reports.
• Support leaders with scheduling meetings for the office.
• Proctor assessments for enrollment purposes.
• Other opportunities as available.
• Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, follow deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, take
initiative, and manage personal workload.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office – MS Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
• Demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract evolve.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record required
