Youth Advocate

Salary: $42,500/year

Then the Youth Advocate position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented, and caring
individual to join our spirited team.
Our Youth Advocates provide ongoing guidance and counseling to local youth to empower them to
reach their goals. This process includes providing individualized and holistic support to each participant
through proven case management strategies

• Manage a caseload and provide exceptional customer service
• Identify potential mentors for the youth population to aid in their success
• Actively recruit and select individuals for the program
• Partner with local area training providers and community organizations to make appropriate
referrals
• Provide remediation to increase skill attainment
• Explore career awareness opportunities to identify long term goals through career pathways
• Perform data entry with minimal error
• Maintain program compliance

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required
• Experience working with disconnected youth
• 1-3 years of human services, training, or teaching experience
• Skills and experience in providing career development and counseling assistance
