Overview

EARN Lead

Salary: $55,000-60,000/year

 

Scope of Position:

Ensure each program participant receives quality training and job opportunities. Oversee participant case management files and adhere to contract regulations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Provide the support that participants need to overcome barriers and reach their employment goals
  • Monitor participant progress by contacting them regularly to ensure successful employment outcomes
  • Prepare for and lead employment workshops and/or individual career counseling to help participants address their barriers to employment
  • Offer follow-up support services to help participants retain employment
  • Ensure the required enrollment paperwork and documentation is completed and located in the participant files
  • Document services provided in participant files
  • Attend scheduled in-service training to develop professional skills
  • Offer appropriate support services
  • Attend required meetings with local and state representatives regarding job placement and job retention issues and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings
  • Maintain accurate participant tracking information
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings
  • Perform case reviews for quality control and customer services purposes
  • Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Must have 1-3 years of supervisory, business, training, teaching or sales experience
  • Skills and experience in providing career development assistance
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a professional attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
