WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker Program Manager

Salary $68,000-$70,000 year

Provide leadership and direction to staff while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Ensure the NWPA Job Connect WIOA and ADW program serves the unique needs of the jobseekers in Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Venango and Warren counties and employers and meets its contractual obligations.

• Establish professional working relationships to develop community support
• Attend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings
• Address human resources and staff concerns
• Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately
• Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
• Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues
• Communicate with staff to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
• Analyze and understand labor market information
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or related area preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of business, training, teaching or sales experience
• Preferred skills and experience in providing career development assistance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Previous management experience with comparable project size an asset
• Able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive
professional attitude
