Salary $68,000-$70,000 year

Are you goal driven? Then the Community Outreach Manager position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.
To build relationships with community-based organizations, to understand partner organizations and develop appropriate strategies to connect job ready candidates to available opportunities in Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Venango and Warren counties.
• Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information
about our mission and goals
• Assist in organizing Rapid Response outreach and coordination of Rapid Response
clients into the WIOA program
• Serve as the NWPA Job Connect’s community liaison, developing and communicating a
deep understanding of the locality through attendance at community and partner events
• Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
• Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems
• Coordinate the recruitment and placement of program candidates
• Schedule and conduct onsite presentations with organizations
• Schedule satellite orientations at various partner locations to increase PA CareerLink®
awareness and participation
• Identify and develop a formalized referral process with community organizations whose
supportive services (i.e. clothing, housing etc.) can be utilized by participants
• Responsible for weekly progress reports
• Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Act as liaison between various departments to meet customer needs
• Assist with maintaining community partner inventory and emailing lists (i.e., recruitment
calendar, job opportunities, meeting invites)
• Represent PA CareerLink® services to the community, and host roundtables and monthly
community-based organization meetings
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area
required
• Experience in business, sales, training
• Interpersonal skills required
• Experience in a team-oriented environment
• Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
• A valid driver's license & clean driving record required
