Are you goal driven? Then the TANF Youth Program Manager position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.
Oversee day-to-day operations, program development, and support of TANF youth programming. Provide direct service by assisting in career planning, workforce development, and worksite matching for paid work experience, job placement, and high school equivalency activities for youth participants. Ensure excellent customer service.
• Work with managerial and direct staff to ensure that customer flow, service delivery, and
data management are efficient and effective, and ensure compliance with Federal, state,
and local policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and direction to staff and conduct staff development as needed
• Ensure that staff meets performance goals as outlined and ensure that resources are
being utilized appropriately
• Update and advise staff on outcome activities and reports
• Develop continuous improvement on process flows and program documentation to align
with program development
• Oversee the participants’ case management and files and ensure contract regulations are
being adhered to; ensure maintenance of customer program file and records; and
document any course of action or service delivery, ensuring compliance with government
regulations
• Administer assessment instruments and compile participant assessment data
• Ensure participants gain necessary information to successfully address barriers
• Analyze and understand labor market information
• Recruit and communicate with local employers and community-based organizations to
solidify them as worksites/referral sources/partners and take them through the necessary
paperwork and agreements as needed
• Conduct employer/worksite meetings, cultivate partner relationships, facilitate various
participant and worksite evaluations, and conduct worksite inspections and visits as well
as pick up time cards
• Attend meetings/trainings and community events outside the center (occasionally
evenings and weekends are required)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• Experience in a team-oriented environment
• At least three years of professional experience, including one year of management or
supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, other computer programs and data entry
• Must have solid organizational skills, time management skills, be detail oriented and
provide accuracy with deadline sensitive goals and objectives
• Ability to deal with difficult customers, and establish and maintain effective working
relationships
• Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require
• A valid driver's license & clean driving record required
