Customer Service Representative
Non-Exempt
Salary: $43,000-$45,000 year
Scope of Position:
Greet and assist jobseekers, employers, and NWPA Job Connect visitors.
Provide administrative support to staff and customers in need of PA CareerLink® services.
Essential Functions:
• Work with all customers in Career Resource Centers
• Welcome visitors in a prompt and friendly manner
• Direct visitors to the appropriate area, services, or staff
• Provide information regarding all PA CareerLink® partners in a knowledgeable and
pleasant manner
• Direct visitors to available onsite partners and resources as appropriate
• Verify and assist jobseekers with PA CareerLink® account registration
• Responsible for tracking foot traffic as it pertains to unemployment inquiries,
appointments, workshops, and recruitment events
• Help coordinate monthly activity calendars, room assignments, and space requests
• Retrieve login information for individuals to access the PA CareerLink® website
• Input jobseeker and employer service activities in the system of record on a daily basis
• Support staff in the collection and verification of program requirements and documentation
• Assist with calling jobseekers and reminding them of upcoming recruitment events and
job fairs
• Identify local partners and programs and refer customers appropriately

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service experience required
• Experience in answering inquiries in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner
• A valid driver's license & clean driving record required
