Work-Based Learning Coordinator
Non Exempt
Scope of Position: Creatively develop, implement and coordinate Paid Work Experience (PWE) and other Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities and oversee successful completion of all opportunities.
Essential Functions:
· Coordinate the screening, placement and referral to PWE and WBL activities to include the completion of site agreements and addendums
· Conduct regular check-ins with employers to mitigate issues and collect evaluations to ensure successful completion of PWE and WBL activities
· Maintain a strong base of communication with team
· Assist with work readiness workshops, participant resume development and mock interviews
· Contact and visit current and prospective PWE/WBL worksites
· Creatively market work based training initiatives to secure paid and unpaid work experiences for program participants
· Collect timesheets from PWE participants and worksites, review for quality and accuracy, and submit for payment processing
· Monitor paperwork flow from worksites and make sure paperwork is correct and ready in a timely manner
· Collaborate with the Business Services Professionals to accomplish placements
· Ensure that participants complete WBL prerequisites prior to WBL placement
· Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
· Refer participants to community service events, job fairs and interviews

Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience
· Must have excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
· Able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
· Skills and experience in providing career development assistance is a plus
· Must have a valid driver’s license
