Then the Career Services Navigator position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.
Serves as the first point of contact for job seekers, employers, and visitors to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and resourceful environment. The Navigator supports intake, orientation, and career planning services while also assisting front-end operations, program eligibility and resource navigation
· Counsel, motivate, and encourage jobseekers in advancing employment, training, and retention goals and provide support in resolving issues that may impede successful job placement
· Inform jobseeker of services available in partnership with PA CareerLink® or other community resources and assist with appropriate referral
· Coordinate overall online and in-person intake, assessment, and orientation process
· Determine individual customer job readiness needs and employment and/or training focus
· Conduct jobseeker interviews and consults in determining appropriate career pathway and assists with career planning
· Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system; manage messages and inquiries.
· Greet and assist all visitors in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.
· Assist jobseeker in PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley registration and enrollment
· Provide overview of available job search resources and workshops
· Pre-screen for program enrollment eligibility and explain program enrollment process and requirements
· Conduct follow up with job seekers throughout program referral process
· Develop, prepare and maintain Welcome Center documents and orientation packets
· Provide support to career resource center and reception as needed to maintain appropriate staffing
· Assist with customer tours of the CareerLink facility, highlight available services, and facilitate customer-specific navigation of the workforce
· Support off-site events and CareerLink satellite site locations
· Participate in local community outreach events to promote CareerLink services
· Demonstrate, maintain, and communicate programmatic policies and procedures
· Partner and assist Operations Manager in rapid response orientations and outreach
· Prepare statistical monitoring and other reports pertaining to intake/assessment flow
· Participate in staff meetings and development trainings

· Two years of professional experience in career counseling, case management, or a related customer service management capacity preferred.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
· Must have clean driving record and reliable transportation
· Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
· Bilingual ability a plus
