Overview

*Must reside in Gulf Coast Region of Texas*

Salary $60,000 year

Scope of Position 

Provide recruitment support  to Gulf Coast Region. Provide HR Generalist functions as needed. Proactively recruit for all open positions in a region and build a pipeline of candidates. Review resumes, connect with job seekers about EDSI openings, and conduct interviews. Assist with offers, data entry and general administrative support. Communicate with hiring managers to understand program needs and implement hiring plan.

Responsibilities

 

  • Enter all job postings for designated region into ATS, state job systems, Indeed
  • Understand job descriptions and requirements for all open positions in the region
  • Review applicant resumes to determine next steps
  • Send AcuMax Index Assessment to candidates
  • Schedule 1st and 2nd external and internal interviews through ATS
  • Create external job offers, obtain approvals and send to candidates as needed
  • Schedule internal interviews and update candidate status in the ATS
  • Conduct 1st interviews
  • Ensure job ads are created and updated for region
  • Source candidates for current and future openings
  • Build talent pipeline by researching and outreaching to community agencies and colleges
  • Strengthen the EDSI brand on all interactions with candidates
  • Strategize with recruitment team on new processes or improvements, as needed
  • Coordinate with local leaders to organize recruitment events
  • Attend job fairs, interviewing days, networking events and information sessions for hiring
  • Communicate with Recruiting Manager and local leadership regarding position openings
  • Attend weekly pre-boarding meetings with the recruiting team
  • Meet with Regional Directors monthly to discuss recruitment for the region
  • Ensure that orientation processes are followed for new representatives in the region
  • Send offer letters and manage the offer letter process for the region
  • Support local recruitment initiatives through recruitment events, community-based organization referralos, walk-in traffic, and direct advertising

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally, to all applicants, EDSI team members and customers

Must be organized, accurate, able to prioritize and have strong time management skills

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Ability to travel as needed

Previous recruiting and networking experience preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Current and valid drivers license and clean driving record needed
