Overview

Salary $75,000 year

The Houston Gulf Coast Youth Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day service delivery, staff supervision, and alignment with HGCY program goals. This person will provide overall leadership, ensure compliance, and serve as the point of contact with Workforce Solutions. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

· Supervise contractor staff delivering HGCY services

· Ensure youth services meet performance targets and contractual requirements

· Act as the primary liaison with Workforce Solutions staff

· Manage budget, staffing, and resources

· Lead continuous improvement and staff development efforts

· Provide guidance and support for HGCY staff to ensure positive outcomes and weekly performance goals are met

· Provide new employee training for Youth Career Advisors

· Develop and maintain relationships with opportunity youth, community leaders, schools, and partner organizations to create a network of referrals

· Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 5–10 years of relevant leadership experience

· Strong knowledge of WIOA Youth Program requirements and performance measures

· Staff supervision experience

· Excellent communication and partnership-building skills

· Strong critical thinking and execution skills

· Workflow development experience

· Data management and analysis experience

· Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations

· A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required
