Scope of Position:

 

Scope of Position: The Community Engagement Manager develops and executes outreach strategies, builds partnerships with community organizations, and expands workforce service accessibility through targeted engagement efforts.

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Meet with agencies to build a positive, collaborative working relationship
  • Meet with educational institutions to learn about their programs and services
  • Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
  • Work with the Career Advisors to determine if additional partner agencies are desired to meet the needs of our customers
  • Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems
  • Disseminate information about our program to community-based organizations
  • Schedule onsite presentations by community partners for our customers
  • Actively communicate with, and update, community-based organizations on our program
  • Develop strategies with staff on how to best work with all agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to meet customer needs
  • Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 5–10 years of relevant leadership experience
  • Experience in human services, sales, training, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Regional travel is required
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations
  •  Must have a current and valid drivers license and a clean driving record
