Are you goal driven? Then the Peer Liaison position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

 

Enhance engagement and provide overall support to peers participating in the PA CareerLink workforce services available through the Bartram Choice Neighborhoods Initiative.

Responsibilities

· Build and develop relationships through ongoing meetings with participants

· Attend CNI People team and resident council meetings as appropriate

· Utilize learned techniques to deliver customer-focused and customer driven goal planning

· Meet with Community Workforce Connector twice a week to discuss customer engagement best practices and those actively in services

· Engage customers both on-site and through email/phone/text to sign them up for PA CareerLink workshops, resume support, and job matching.

· Conduct outreach to increase enrollments, received services, and to capture outcomes such as training enrollment/completion and job attainment.

· Maintain timely and complete documentation of interactions with participants

· Collaborate effectively and communicate proactively with staff and participants

· Create and maintain an environment that promotes opportunities for quality interaction

· Establish clear expectations and encourage participant accountability

· Model positive, respectful, and professional behavior in all situations

· Demonstrate positive, pro-social interactions with participants, staff and community representatives

· Use language reflective of a commitment to diversity; demonstrate cultural competence

· Demonstrate allegiance to the policies, procedures and expectations of EDSI as well as partner agencies

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Must be a resident of Philadelphia Housing Authority

· Demonstrated telephone and written communication skills

· Ability to work virtually and in-person required

· Comfortability with using Office365 and video conferencing required

· Able to demonstrate a positive professional attitude

· Customer Service skills required
