Overview

Title: Adult Program Lead

Classification: Exempt

 

Scope of Position:

 

Lead the WIOA AD/DW Program through St Louis County by directing strategies to achieve program goals and oversee team members and daily operations. Ensure strict adherence to contract regulations and performance requirements for all grants, while managing participant case management files for compliance. Serve as the primary contact for the WIOA grants, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining participant confidentiality, and enforcing contract regulations daily.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

 

· Assist the team in setting performance goals in ways that comply with the program’s mission, vision, strategy, and operational plan

· Support the program team by ensuring they understand their duties and responsibilities, providing and/or connecting the team to training

· Monitor the team’s productivity and performance, while offering constructive feedback and coaching

· Attend required internal and external program meetings, conference calls, and webinars

· Coordinate and facilitate weekly team meetings, training, and professional development

· Oversee and execute enrollment/exit process in accordance with program requirements

· Brainstorm, execute, and participate in innovative and unconventional ways to recruit eligible participants in the program to ensure program goals are obtained

· Ensure that program outcomes and measures are being met and properly recorded in the program’s database

· Intervene in negative participant complaints and experiences to ensure policies are being followed and customer service is being provided within expectations. Provide support, feedback, training, and disciplinary action to team members, when necessary

· Prepare clear and concise oral and written reports as needed, and meet all program reporting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner

· Train all new team members on the program, process, and other company-related requirements

· Oversee program participant budgets so that funds are being properly spent, recorded, and the program stays within its budget

· Address human resource and team member concerns

· Day-to-day management of program(s) operations

· Maintain accurate participant tracking information

· Serve as the primary point of contact for the program, communicating with stakeholders, participants, and team members

· Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and across departments or organizations involved in the program

· Monitor progress against milestones and deliverables, identifying and addressing issues as they arise

· Assist with new grant opportunities that align with the Adult population

· Prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders, management, or funders

· Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

· Ability to prioritize tasks and document contacts

· Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in workforce development preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment

· Must have a valid driver’s license
