Title: PA – Berks: Workforce Coordinator

Scope of Position
The Workforce Coordinator provides direct program and administrative support to the WIOA Programs within a one-stop service delivery environment. This position serves as a bridge between jobseekers, employers, and program staff to ensure effective coordination of services, compliance with program requirements, and successful participant outcomes.
The Workforce Coordinator works closely with Career Coaches, Business Services Representatives, and partner agencies to facilitate smooth participant experiences, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of WIOA service delivery.
Essential Functions
· Provide case management for assigned WIOA participants, including intake, eligibility determination, enrollment, and ongoing follow-up.
· Build professional one-on-one working relationships with customers to assist in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employment
· Provide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed
· Assist with the enrollment and documentation of On-the-Job Training (OJT) participants and other work-based learning activities.
· Retrieve the necessary information from regional employers and their OJT participants to process training applications in accordance with state and local policies.
· Track, collect, and review monthly OJT employer-related documentation to ensure it is submitted in a timely manner with completeness and compliance.
· Maintain a consistent presence at partner sites to conduct eligibility screenings, provide follow-up services, and ensure accessibility of WIOA resources.
· Support the collection and verification of participant data in accordance with WIOA and local workforce board requirements.
· Monitor participant progress toward training and employment goals, ensuring accurate entry of case notes and outcomes.
· Maintain organized participant and employer files in alignment with data validation and monitoring standards.
· Collaborate with Business Services Representatives to support employer engagement activities, such as recruitment events and job fairs.
· Assist with scheduling and registration of WorkKeys assessments for internal participants as well as employer-referred examinees
· Work with partners and programs to coordinate scheduling & registrations related to ESL, ABE, and CASAS
· Prepare reports, track outcomes, and assist with monthly performance and compliance reviews as directed.
· Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and special projects that enhance program quality or service delivery.
Education and Experience Required
· Must have experience in a team-oriented environment
· Able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
· Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills
· Must have strong computer skills, comfortable using MS Office Tools.
· Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of the contract require
· Valid Driver’s License and automobile.
· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
