Welcome to the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Program! Our main goal is to prepare high school students with disabilities for success following graduation.

• Strong Communication Skills: Our Facilitator represents the program within the community – the schools, local businesses, and Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD) offices – and plays an integral part in the program’s success.

• Consistency: We partner with the schools to design a workshop schedule and the students rely on consistency in the classroom for their success.
Essential Job Functions:
• Provide career readiness training through both in-person and virtual workshops.
• Network with and engage local community partners and businesses to bring valuable insight and information to our students. The strength of our program is determined by the strengths of our partnerships!
• Serve as the bridge between EIPD Counselors, classroom teachers, community leaders, and the students. In other words, this role connects the dots across the program’s partners.
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed and processed in a timely manner to meet contractual performance measures.
• Meet with Pre-ETS Program Coordinator, Program Manager, and Program Director regularly to monitor Milestone Utilization progress, ensure Encore (system of record) data is accurate and submitted timely, and actively working on your professional development activities to improve training needs.
• Organize and manage your schedule to ensure all appointments are attended and all deadlines are met. Several aspects of this role can be completed remotely; self-discipline is imperative.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in human services, education, training or related area
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and car are required for travel between schools
• Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Ability to achieve background clearances for schools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
